These Terms govern your use of the Shore app, the waitlist at shore.llc, and any related services (together, the "Service"), operated by [Shore, LLC / legal entity name]. By using the Service, you agree to these Terms.

1. Eligibility

You must be at least 16 years old to use Shore. By using the Service, you confirm you meet this requirement.

Not medical advice. Shore provides fitness guidance based on data you log. It is not a medical device, and nothing in the app is medical advice, diagnosis, or treatment. Talk to a doctor before starting any new exercise program, especially if you have an existing health condition. Exercise carries an inherent risk of injury; you use Shore's recommendations at your own risk.

2. Your Account

You're responsible for keeping your account credentials secure and for all activity under your account. Let us know right away at [CONTACT EMAIL] if you suspect unauthorized access.

3. The Waitlist & Beta

Joining the waitlist or the TestFlight beta doesn't guarantee access, a specific launch date, or that any particular feature will ship. Beta builds may contain bugs, incomplete features, or lose data between updates. Don't rely on the beta for anything you can't afford to lose or get wrong.

4. Shore Pro Subscription

Shore Pro is billed through your Apple ID at the price shown at the time of purchase.
Subscriptions automatically renew unless canceled at least 24 hours before the end of the current period.
Any free trial converts to a paid subscription automatically unless canceled before the trial ends.
Manage or cancel your subscription anytime in your iPhone's Settings → your name → Subscriptions. We can't process cancellations or refunds directly, those go through Apple.
Prices may change; we'll give notice before any change affects your active subscription.

5. Acceptable Use

Don't use Shore to:

Reverse-engineer, scrape, or attempt to access other users' data
Interfere with the leaderboard/points system (e.g., falsifying workout data to manipulate rankings)
Use the Service for any unlawful purpose

6. Health Data

If you connect Apple Health, Shore reads your heart rate to power in-workout intensity tracking and recovery recommendations. We never write data back to Apple Health. See our Privacy Policy for details on how this data is used and stored.

7. Intellectual Property

Shore, the Shore name, and the app's design are owned by us. You keep ownership of the workout data you log. We just need a license to store and process it in order to run the Service, which you grant us by using Shore.

8. Termination

You can stop using Shore and delete your account anytime. We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these Terms.

9. Disclaimers & Limitation of Liability

The Service is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind. To the fullest extent permitted by law, Shore isn't liable for injuries, indirect damages, or lost data arising from your use of the Service, including reliance on any workout recommendation, readiness score, or weight suggestion the app provides.

10. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of [State/jurisdiction, fill in], without regard to conflict-of-law principles.

11. Changes to These Terms

We may update these Terms as the Service evolves. We'll update the date at the top of this page; continuing to use Shore after changes means you accept the updated Terms.
